Singer-songwriter performing hometown stories

ACTON 50ȻƵ Local singer-songwriter Peter Yake will be performing June 8 at Heritage Acton Town Hall Centre in support of his debut independently produced album, Bridge Outside of Town.

For fans of authentic, roots-inspired music, Yake50ȻƵs songwriting paints hometowns with a nostalgic brush.

Joining him onstage will be a host of other musicians including Don Eady, Bill Mountford, Ken Baker, and Bruce Hopkins. Also showcasing original works will be local musicians Julia Godden and Nolan McGillivray.

Although this is his first independently produced album, Yake says he50ȻƵs been writing and performing for longer than he wants to remember, from his rock and roll and grunge days of the 50ȻƵ90s, to the laid-back, understated acoustic shows of late.

50ȻƵEach track on 50ȻƵBridge Outside of Town50ȻƵ has a story to tell, and I50ȻƵm grateful for the opportunity to share them with an audience.50ȻƵ

Doors open at 7pm with a 50ȻƵpay what you can50ȻƵ admission.
